Capped Composite Decking Boards - Premium Range
Our Premium Decking Boards are our most popular product. This second-generation product is stocked in 4 fantastic colours all in 3.6m lengths. These are capped decking boards and the decking itself is encapsulated with a protective polymer shield which offers advanced performance against water absorption, scratch resistance, and limits fading.
What is Capped Composite Decking?
There are many different types of material for garden decking. Our Innovative capped composite decking boards have a unique construction. They have a protective shield around a traditional composite decking board. The environmentally friendly product has a core consisting of recycled wood fibres and plastic polymers, while an outer layer is encapsulated in a polymer coating providing additional protection.

What are the main Benefits of Capped Composite Decking Vs Uncapped Decking and Timber?
Durability and Longevity
The protective cap or encapsulation, significantly extends the product lifespan. Unlike traditional timber decking that may need replacing after 5 - 10 years, capped composite can last 25-30 years when fitted and maintained correctly. No expensive timber treatment every year!!
Moisture Resistance – Longer product life.
Water resistance is one of the main advantages. The encapsulation protection prevents moisture from seeping into the decking core, reducing the risk of mould, mildew, and eventually rot. However please note no decking product is completely waterproof.
Reduced Fading and Improved Stain Resistance
The outer encapsulation provides an excellent protection against UV rays and staining. Fading is significantly less noticeable compared to uncapped alternative products.
Low Maintenance – Save Time and Money!
Save time and money as you won’t need to spend hours and hours staining or sealing your deck. Regular cleaning with soap and water is usually enough to maintain its contemporary appearance
